George Goosen

VP Technology, Global Client Onboarding at Rimini Street

Mr. Goosen serves as VP, Global Client Onboarding. In this role, he is responsible for global archiving and quality assurance, pre-sales engagement, client onboarding and is an Oracle subject matter expert.

Mr. Goosen is a skilled executive leader with 20 years of experience in consulting, delivery and development working in multiple industry verticals including defence, aerospace, financial services, education, oil and gas, government, health, insurance, and telecommunications and has strong technical implementation and support experience in Oracle applications and technologies. He is a recognized technical leading global teams of various sizes managing strong technical experts and consultants.

Immediately prior to his current role, Mr. Goosen served as Director for Technology Support in the APAC region managing technical experts’ delivery 24×7 support to our global customers.

Prior to joining Rimini Street, Mr. Goosen was National Presales lead at CSG Australia, CSG is an ASX listed top tier implementation partner and was awarded Oracle APAC partner of the year where he led a team of presales engineers covering subject matter expertise for Oracle Applications, Database, Integration, and Identity. During his tenure at CSG he lead teams implementing Oracle products at Santos, BAE Systems, Ausenco, Ambulance Victoria and Catholic Education.

Previously, Mr. Goosen was Consultant implementing and consulting on various Oracle products including Oracle Applications, Oracle SOA suite and Oracle Identity. His clients included KPMG, Investec, Reserve Bank Of South Africa, Wesbank, Telesure and Vodacom.

Mr. Goosen holds an International Diploma in Computer Science Degree from NCC and is currently working on his Master in Data Science specializing in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence through James Cook University.
