Mikkel Nielsen

Mikkel Nielsen is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing backend services. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Vokalo since October 2024, Mikkel previously worked as a Software Developer at Better Collective from August 2023 to October 2024. Mikkel has an extensive tenure at Clearhaus from April 2017 to July 2023 as a Systems Engineer, where the design and implementation of new backend services for the Merchant API was led, successfully displacing underperforming services. Prior experiences include roles as a Software Developer at Spirent Communications and Tweakker, contributing to cloud business scaling and developing solutions for on-premise installations. Mikkel holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Aarhus University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, also attended San Diego State University as a foreign exchange student in Computer Science.
