Abner Vargas

Abner Vargas, M.S, currently serves as IT Manager at enGen since January 2018, leading a team of over 30 test engineers across multiple campuses and promoting automation, performance, and application security testing initiatives. Prior to this role, Abner held the position of IT Team Manager at HM Health Solutions from May 2013 to January 2018, where responsibilities included managing daily operations and optimizing resource efficiency for a team of eight. Abner also served as Performance Testing Lead at HM Health Solutions, overseeing six performance testers and managing multiple projects concurrently. Earlier career experience includes roles as Performance Testing Lead, Technical Business Analyst, and Information Systems Intern at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Abner holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
