Ujash Sooriya

Ujash Sooriya has extensive experience in education and research, serving as a Tamil Teacher at Halton Catholic District School Board from July 2013 to July 2023, where responsibilities included teaching language and addressing parent inquiries. Additionally, Ujash held the position of Clinical Research Coordinator at Sunnybrook from August 2021 to August 2022, and worked as a Research Assistant at Western University from November 2018 to April 2021, focusing on psychology research involving language, memory, and executive functioning, along with data management tasks. Ujash's earlier roles included a Quality Inspector at Modatek Systems for a brief period in 2019 and a Retail Sales Associate at STITCHES from October 2016 to April 2017, both of which contributed to developing quality assurance and customer service skills. Ujash is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Queen's University, having previously earned an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences from Western University.
