Caroline Zhao has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Caroline started their career as a Project Coordinator at China Instruction Company in 1995. In 1996, they joined Nokia as a Management Assistant and Secretary Team Leader, a role they held until 2003. Caroline then transitioned to a Procurement Project Leader position from 2004 to 2007 and later became a Program Collaboration Manager from 2007 to 2012. Caroline continued their career at Nokia as a Material Technology Manager from 2012 to 2014. Caroline also worked at Microsoft as a Material Technology Manager for a short period in 2014. Caroline then joined Beijing Acorn-net limited company as a Supply Chain Manager from 2014 to 2017 where they played a key role in setting up the supply chain organization and implementing procedures. Currently, they are working at HMD Global as a Channel Manager since 2017.

Caroline Zhao holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Supply chain & Logistic. Caroline acquired this degree from the University of International Business and Economics, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Inner Mongolia University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
