Zahra Sheikh has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Zahra started their career in 2008 at Huawei Technologies as an RF Optimisation Engineer. After a brief stint, they joined MTN as a RAN Planning & Optimisation Engineer, where they worked for six years until 2014. Following that, Zahra joined Ericsson as a RAN Optimisation Engineer from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Support Engineer at HMD Global since November 2017. Additionally, they recently transitioned to the role of Technical Account Manager at the same company in October 2021.

Zahra Sheikh began their education in 2008 by obtaining a certification in Nokia NetAct OSS Essentials from Nokia. In 2014, they gained multiple certifications including CCNA from Cisco and various certifications in WCDMA RAN from Ericsson. In 2015, Zahra enrolled in the University of Technology Sydney and pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunication Networks, which they completed in 2016. Following this, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Engineering Management degree in 2017. In July 2017, Zahra completed the Careers Accomplish Intensive certification program from the University of Technology Sydney. In addition, they obtained the Professional Telecommunication Engineer certification from Engineers Australia in March 2017 and the LTE Network Principle and Planning certification from ZTE in June 2015.
