Job Description:

This role is responsible for processing carrier bills efficiently and in a timely manner; verifying the documents for accuracy and billing the customers. The Logistics Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for collecting accurate data for invoicing, entering bills in QB, and communicating with other departments when needed.

Duties and responsibilities:

1.       Work with company software programs and QB to process carrier bills

2.       Analysis of paperwork received from carriers

3.       Coordinate properly with Operations, Customers and Carriers

4.       Coordinate in a timely manner with the supervisor in case there are some issues.

5.      Handling accounts payable for vendors

6.      Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors

Knowledge and skills required:

·       Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.

·       Experience in billing/AP is a plus.

·       Solid data entry skills with regard to speed and accuracy.

·       Intermediate MS Excel skills.

·       A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.

·       Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

·       Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
