Karin Karltorp

Karin Karltorp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software management and engineering. Currently serving as Group Manager Software and Concepts and Solutions Engineer at HMS Networks since August 2021, Karin leads the transformation of innovative ideas into viable business solutions through customer engagement and prototyping. Prior to this role, Karin was an Education Officer in Student Affairs Support at Högskolan i Halmstad and spent over eight years at Linköping University as Faculty Program Director for Industrial Engineering and Logistics, overseeing program development in that field. Karin's earlier career includes significant roles at Sectra Communications AB as After Sales Manager and Project Manager, as well as a foundational period at Swedish Radio P4 as a sound engineer, radio producer, and presenter. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University and studies in Media Production at Södra Vätterbygdens Folkhögskola.
