Yasir Siraj is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and design across the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Project Director at H&MV Engineering, Yasir oversees a portfolio of EPC projects in the UK, focusing on substations for renewables, battery energy storage systems, solar projects, and data centers. Previously, Yasir held roles at Burns & McDonnell as Senior Design and Project Manager, leading significant projects within the National Grid EPC framework, and at Hitachi Energy as Principal Project Engineering Lead, successfully managing offshore windfarm substation designs. With educational qualifications from the University of Warwick and the University of Nottingham in Energy and Power Electronics and Electrical and Electronic Engineering respectively, Yasir has also contributed to industry events and committees, showcasing a strong commitment to advancing engineering practices.
