Connor Weir

Connor Weir is an experienced marketing professional and independent musician with a strong background in social media management and community engagement. Currently serving as Music & Tech Community Marketing Manager at HMV since August 2019, Connor manages social media and email marketing channels, contributing to significant campaigns such as hmvVault and #WaxFriday. As a member of the 1440 Band, Connor has been actively involved in songwriting and multimedia projects for over five years. Previous roles include Social Media Manager for Pride in London and Marketing Executive at magicbooking, along with creative contributions at McIntosh Publishing and research work at Re-zoning NI. Connor holds a Master of Arts in Music + Digital Media from the University of Glasgow and has studied Music + Communications at Boston College.
