Amber James

Amber James, Esq., CIPP/US, currently serves as Associate Counsel at HNI Healthcare and has held the position of Executive Director at the North Texas ACE Foundation since 2013, where the organization has contributed over $800,000 in scholarships and donations for healthcare and animal welfare initiatives. Previously, James worked as Associate General Counsel and Privacy Officer at HealthChannels, providing legal guidance on a variety of issues including COVID-19 regulations, and served as Corporate Counsel at TeamHealth, managing legal affairs across multiple healthcare service divisions. Early in the career, James practiced as an attorney at Whitaker Chalk Swindle & Schwartz PLLC, representing clients in regulated industries. Amber James holds a JD from Texas A&M University School of Law and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science from Lamar University.
