Amber Hardin

Amber Hardin currently serves as Corporate Legal Counsel at HNI Corporation, focusing on IT, data privacy, and e-commerce since January 2020. Prior to this role, Hardin held the position of Senior Legal Counsel and Deputy Privacy Officer at Allsteel from June 2017 to January 2020, where responsibilities included managing contracting and compliance for Allsteel, Inc. and the Gunlocke Company. Earlier experience includes serving as Attorney-Director at Stanley, Lande & Hunter from September 2011 to May 2017, and multiple summer associate roles at Allstate, University of Illinois Office of University Counsel, and Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation in 2009. Hardin began legal education with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Illinois College of Law (2008-2011) after earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2004-2008).
