Gabriel Capan

Gabriel Capan is a seasoned environmental and safety professional currently serving as Corporate Environmental Manager at HNI Corporation since July 2023. Prior to this role, Gabriel held the position of Senior EHS Manager at Goose Island Beer Company from May 2021 to June 2023, contributing greatly to the renowned craft brewery's operations. Gabriel’s experience also includes serving as SHE Supervisor at Unilever from May 2019 to April 2021, and as Regulatory Specialist for North America at ThreeBond International, Inc. between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, Gabriel worked as an External SH&E Resource (Contractor) for Nestlé Waters in 2016-2017 and as a Business Analyst at Gensuite from 2014 to 2015. Early in the career, Gabriel was an Environmental Compliance Specialist at the Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency from 2012 to 2013. Gabriel holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences and Environmental Science from the University of Cincinnati.
