Bijon Rafie

Bijon Rafie is a Corporate Environmental Manager at The Wine Group since July 2025, with previous experience as a Senior Environmental Engineer and Offshore Support Engineer at Shell from May 2019 to July 2025. Bijon gained valuable hands-on experience as an engineering focal point for a $4 billion offshore joint-venture asset. Prior roles include Environmental Engineer and participation in the Shell Graduate Program, as well as serving as an Environmental Consultant at Williams Creek Consulting + Management in 2018. Bijon was also an Executive Advisor for the Purdue Aquaponics Project from January 2016 to January 2018, where systems designs received recognition as one of the top ten inventions saving the Earth by Tech Insider in 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Environmental and Ecological Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Purdue University.
