E. Gregory Thorpe

E. Gregory Thorpe, PE, currently serves as Senior Project Manager and Associate VP at HNTB since August 2019, specializing in rail and transit projects. Prior to this role, E. Gregory Thorpe spent 17 years at Utah Transit Authority as Manager of Light Rail Engineering and Construction, overseeing significant light rail and bus facility projects. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Branch Manager at Stantec Consulting, where responsibilities included managing regional transportation efforts and business development, and as Executive VP and Chairman at EWP Engineering, Inc., focusing on financial operations and strategic planning. E. Gregory Thorpe holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and completed post-graduate studies in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Utah.
