Michele Morton

Michele Morton, RHIA, CCS, CCDS, currently serves as Executive Director at Hoag Health System since January 2014, having held various positions including Director of HIM and Coding and Clinical Documentation Manager. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of Inpatient Services at MDA Healthcare Consultants from February 2011 to January 2014 and Inpatient Coding Auditor at Hoag Hospital from 2006 to 2011. Michele also worked as an Inpatient Coder at Garden Grove Hospital (2005-2006) and as a Coding Intern at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital (2004-2005). Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Cypress College, completed between 2013 and 2015.
