Vincent Sebastiano

Vincent Sebastiano has extensive work experience in finance and operations, primarily in leadership positions. Vincent most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Hobie, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Operations at SyBridge Technologies from January 2020 to December 2022. Vincent has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Toolplas Systems Inc. from August 2018 to January 2020.

Before their CFO roles, Vincent was self-employed as an Executive Director from February 2018 to August 2018. Vincent also served as the Vice President of Global Operations at Pangeo Group from March 2017 to February 2018 and as the Vice President, North America at Gentherm from September 2010 to December 2016.

Earlier in their career, Vincent worked as the Director of Controlling - North America at MAHLE Industries Inc. from May 2008 to August 2010. Vincent was the Vice President of Finance and Operations at DomCast Group from April 2007 to May 2008, and prior to that, they held the role of Vice President Finance at Hillsdale Automotive, an EaglePicher Company, from 2005 to 2007.

Vincent's earliest work experience was as the Director of Finance at AZ Automotive from 2003 to 2004. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on financial management, strategic planning, and operational improvements.

Vincent Sebastiano has a diverse education history in the field of management accounting and finance. Vincent began their education journey at Mohawk College from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Finance and Accounting. Afterward, they joined the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and completed their Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 1991.

Vincent continued their professional development by enrolling in the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2011. Although no degree is specified, they pursued studies in Executive Leadership for the duration of one year. Finally, in 2014, Vincent achieved their Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from CPA Canada, further enhancing their expertise in the field of management accounting and finance.
