Janice Jessen has a diverse work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Janice started their career in 1981 as an Account Executive at KCAU-TV and worked there until 1986. Then, they joined MACH II Marketing as a Marketing Administrator from 1986 to 1992. Janice then joined KMEG 14 News as a General Sales Manager in 1992 and worked there for over a decade until 2003.

In 2003, Janice became the President of Precision Marketing for a year before transitioning to Blue Earth Marketing in 2004. At Blue Earth Marketing, they held the position of Managing Director and was responsible for managing a full-service marketing and advertising agency serving various clients. Janice excelled in developing award-winning marketing collateral across different mediums, including print, broadcast, audio/visual, internet, and environmental. Janice also gained experience in national and international marketing programs.

Additionally, in 2004, Janice worked as the Communications Director at Ho-Chunk, Inc. throughout an unspecified duration.
