LaRhonda Jackson is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in public health, nonprofit organizations, sports, and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Director of Communications Initiatives at the CDC Foundation, LaRhonda spearheads strategies for public health awareness and philanthropy campaigns while leading a cross-sector coalition to enhance public trust. Previously, LaRhonda held the position of Director of Marketing Communications at the American Cancer Society, where responsibilities included multichannel communications strategy for various initiatives including health equity and advocacy. Additional roles include Director of Communications at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, Atlanta Speech School, Points of Light, and NASCAR. LaRhonda began a career in communications at the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Atlanta Falcons. LaRhonda holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
