Sara Yapp

Sara Yapp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sara currently works at Hodge as the Head of Business Change, where they are responsible for overseeing and implementing changes within the company. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Business Change Manager at Hodge.

Before joining Hodge, Sara worked at Meggitt as a Programme Manager in the Central Finance function. In this role, they coordinated and delivered multiple finance, IT, and data projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies. Sara also led infrastructure projects to install and upgrade enterprise systems such as SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and S4 Procurement. Sara was also responsible for generating and implementing project and programme plans.

Sara also has experience in investor relations, as they held the position of Investor Relations Manager (Maternity Cover) at Meggitt. In this role, they provided support to investors, worked closely with the CEO and CFO to produce financial results presentations, and coordinated the production of the company's annual report.

Additionally, Sara worked at Meggitt as a Programme Manager in Operations Projects and Systems, where they designed and created a management reporting suite and oversaw its adaptation to an online SAP solution. Sara also created and managed a programme management function within the Indirect Procurement team.

Before joining Meggitt, they worked at Deloitte as a Management Consultant, where they were seconded to the risk management function at the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). Sara drafted and communicated new risk and issue management standards and processes and coordinated cross-functional risk and issue management.

Sara's earlier work experience includes roles such as Reporting Officer at Home Office Identity and Passport Service, English Language Teacher at Universite de Bordeaux, and Administrator at Cardiff Crown Court in the National Probation Service for England & Wales.

Sara Yapp has a 1st Class Hons BA degree in Contemporary Europe with a focus on European Studies, French, and Italian from the University of Southampton. Sara also completed their A levels at Whitchurch High School.
