Richard Wong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Richard is currently employed as a Maintenance Manager at Hodo, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, Richard was the Former Owner of Raison D'etre Bakery, where they established a reputation for delicious products made from all-natural ingredients. Richard owned and operated Raison D'etre Bakery from August 1994 to March 2022.

Richard also served as the Owner of EOS Restaurant & Wine Bar from August 1995 to August 2007. Before that, they owned and operated Ashbury Market from June 1980 to June 1998.

In addition, Richard worked as an Aircraft Mechanic at United Airlines from January 1989 to August 1997, where they quickly progressed to performing major repairs. Prior to that, they held the same role at American Airlines from January 1986 to December 1988 and at Wings West Airlines from June 1985 to January 1986.

Richard Wong obtained their CFM - Certified Facility Manager degree from IFMA - International Facility Management Association in 2022. Richard also holds a certification in Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from IFMA, which they obtained in May 2022. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1986, Richard studied Aircraft Maintenance at San Francisco City College, earning an A&P degree.
