Juan Arias

Juan Arias has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Juan is currently working at Hoefer Welker as an Associate Vice President and Project Designer since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Architectural Designer at the same company from September 2021 to February 2023. Before joining Hoefer Welker, Juan was a Senior Project Designer at AECOM from April 2017 to January 2020. Juan also worked as a Senior Project Designer at HDR from October 2011 to April 2017 and at HOK from September 2006 to September 2011. Earlier in their career, they were a Project Designer at Borges Architectural Group, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant and BIM Expert at CAD/BIM Implementation from 2000 to 2004. Juan started their career as a Project Designer at AML Arquitectos, Ltda. in 1992 and later became a Project Architect from 1996 to 2000. Overall, Juan Arias has a vast experience in the architecture industry, specializing in project design and management.

Juan Arias attended the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 1985 to 1991. Juan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture during their time at the university.
