Peter Stein

Peter Stein is an experienced Senior Project Manager at hofer powertrain since November 2017, with a strong background in engineering and project leadership. Prior roles include serving as Project Director for the Business Unit "Ricardo Motorrad" at Ricardo from 2010 to 2017, where responsibilities encompassed customer management for BMW Motorrad, project acquisition, technical delivery, and P&L oversight, as well as leading engineering resources and strategic direction as Engineering Director. Peter also held the position of Head of Engine Testing at Ricardo, managing two teams. Prior to that, Peter was Department Head at Meta Motoren- Und Energie-Technik from 1994 to 2010, overseeing test bench organization and project management. Peter began their career as a Student Assistant at FEV from 1988 to 1991. Education includes a Diplom-Ingenieur in Construction from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
