Helen Meijer

Helen Meijer is currently the Head of Education at the Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid, focusing on media education, news literacy, and diversity and inclusion since March 2022. Meijer is also active in various advisory roles, including membership on the Digital and Media Literacy Advisory Committee and the Steering Group Human Capital Agenda, along with participation in the Core Group of Netwerk Mediawijsheid and Filmhub Midden, supporting media literacy and education initiatives. A long-term engagement with Amnesty International The Netherlands as Chair of the Appointments Advisory Committee highlights commitment to leadership and governance. Previously, Meijer held significant positions at Deloitte Consulting, emphasizing innovation and education, while holding a visiting professorship at Deloitte University. Academic credentials include a degree in International Affairs and Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and additional education from Nyenrode Business University.
