Katja van Vliet

Katja van Vliet currently serves as a member of the Commissie Leefstijl in de Zorg at ZonMw since September 2023. Since February 2018, Katja has held various roles at Hogeschool Rotterdam, including Senior Researcher at the Kenniscentrum Zorginnovatie, Interim Manager for the Lectoraat Technische Innovatie, and Program Manager for Vitale Delta. Katja is the owner of Katja van Vliet Onderzoek & Advies, Kennis & Verbeelding since April 2012. Prior roles include Program Manager at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, responsible for developing a research platform on quality of life, as well as Program Manager and Senior Policy Advisor at Zorginstituut Nederland focusing on health care innovation. Additionally, Katja served on the board of the Henny Verhagen Stichting and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at TNO. Katja's career began with positions as a Senior Researcher at Verwey-Jonker Instituut and Assistant Professor at Leiden University Medical Center. Academic credentials include a Doctoraal and MA in Psychology from Leiden University, a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, as well as studies at the Academy of Art and Kunstacademie Haarlem en Leiden.
