Marleen Goumans

Marleen Goumans is a seasoned professional in health policy and administration with extensive experience in academia and advisory roles. Since March 2008, Marleen has held multiple positions at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, including Director of the Center of Excellence in HRTech, Program Director of the Knowledge Center for Healthcare Innovation, and lecturer. Concurrently, Marleen has been a lecturer at Hogeschool Rotterdam since 2008. Previous roles include advisor to the board at Laurens from March 2008 to November 2019, manager at Vilans from 2005 to 2008, and senior researcher and advisor at NIZW from 2001 to 2007. Marleen also served as a policy advisor at VNG from 1998 to 2001 and began a career as a researcher at Maastricht University from 1991 to 1998. Marleen earned a Doctorate in Health Sciences with a focus on health policy and administration from Maastricht University between 1986 and 1991.
