Cipp/E Šerif Zjakić

Šerif Zjakić, CIPP/E, CIPT has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. From 2017, they worked at Hoist Finance where they held multiple roles including Group Privacy Officer (Head of Data Protection), Expert Data Protection Officer, and Compliance Officer with a focus on data protection. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they served as an Army Officer in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, having graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. Before joining the armed forces, they worked as a Jurist at a law firm from 2011 to 2013.

Šerif Zjakić, CIPP/E, CIPT, has a diverse and comprehensive education history. In 2007, they began their studies at the University of Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree focusing on Law. Šerif successfully completed their degree in 2011.

In 2014, Šerif enrolled at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Šerif participated in a program centered around leadership and management, resulting in their attainment of an Officer degree in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Šerif has acquired several valuable certifications. In 2016, they completed the International Staff Officer Skills Course offered by NATO. During the same year, they also obtained an EQF Level 4 Personal Trainer certification from EREPS.

Šerif 'sdedication to privacy and data protection is evident through their certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In 2019, Šerif obtained the CIPP/E certification, followed by the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification in 2022.

Furthermore, Šerif is a member of the Forum för Dataskydd focused on data protection in the Nordics, although the exact date of their membership is unknown.
