Gianmarco Cicconi has extensive work experience in the financial industry, spanning over 20 years. Gianmarco has held various roles in different companies, including Hoist Finance, Agos Ducato – Credit Agricole Consumer Finance, Barclays Bank PLC Italy, Citi, Capgemini Ernst & Young, Pricewaterhouse Consulting, and Ernst & Young Consultant.
At Hoist Finance, Gianmarco served as the Head of Operations in Italy, overseeing the SME & Unsecured Specialty Areas. Prior to this, they were the Operational Excellence Regional Manager, where they led the Unsecured Loans Collection, Closing, and Operational support in Italy. Gianmarco also worked as the PQH Portfolio & Asset Sales Director in Greece, during which they were seconded to PQH Single Special Liquidation S.A.
Before joining Hoist Finance, Gianmarco worked at Agos Ducato – Credit Agricole Consumer Finance as the Responsible for Collection Performance Monitoring & Strategy Optimization. Gianmarco was responsible for monitoring portfolio indicators, optimizing operational measures, and forecasting portfolio volumes and capacity planning.
Gianmarco also held leadership positions at Barclays Bank PLC Italy, where they served as the Head of Impairment & Collection Strategies. In this role, they were accountable for loan loss reserve assessment, collection strategy management, and performance discussions with senior management.
During their tenure at Citi, Gianmarco served as the Cards Collection Manager and was responsible for defining and implementing collection strategies and processes within the Credit Card Business in Italy. Gianmarco also worked as a Management Associate, leading a project to migrate Cards Operations from Milan to Barcelona.
Earlier in their career, Gianmarco held positions at Capgemini Ernst & Young, Pricewaterhouse Consulting, and Ernst & Young Consultant, where they gained experience as a Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant respectively.
Throughout their career, Gianmarco has demonstrated expertise in operations management, performance optimization, strategy development, portfolio monitoring, and collection strategies.
Gianmarco Cicconi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Management from Columbia Business School in 2006. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where the specific years of their enrollment are not provided.
