Grace D.

Grace D. has a strong background in cybersecurity and security operations. Grace started their career in 2016 at the BBC, where they worked as a Security Operations Centre Analyst for two years. Grace then progressed to the role of Security Operations Centre Senior Analyst and later became a Security Operations Centre Specialist. In 2022, they joined News Corp as a Senior Detection and Response Engineer. Currently, Grace holds the position of Cyber Security Operations Manager at Hoist Finance, starting in 2023. Overall, they have gained extensive experience and expertise in various security roles throughout their career.

Grace D. started their education in 2010 at the International Baccalaureate, where they pursued their high school degree until 2013. Grace then enrolled in the University of Westminster and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Network Security from 2013 to 2016. Continuing their academic journey, they joined Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics through distance learning from 2018 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Grace D. also obtained various certifications. In October 2017, they achieved the Security+ certification from CompTIA. In September 2019, they acquired the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification. Grace D. further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) certification from GIAC Certifications in July 2020. Their most recent certification achievement is the GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) in March 2021, also from GIAC Certifications.
