Huub Vijverberg MSc RA

Huub Vijverberg MSc RA has a diverse work experience spanning several reputable companies. Huub is currently working as the Head of Finance & Control BENELUX at Hoist Finance since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Manager Accounting & Control at Industrial Physics from 2019 to 2022, leading the transformation of monthly reporting and internal SOx controls. Huub also held a similar role at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated from 2017 to 2018, where they led the financial reporting transformation and implemented a new Tax Control Framework.

Before their roles in the private sector, Huub worked at DRV Accountants & Adviseurs as a Junior Manager, responsible for preparing risk analysis and assisting colleagues. Huub had a brief stint at Achmea as a Senior Internal Auditor, where they made adjustments to the internal control framework and reviewed the implementation of IFRS 17.

Huub started their career at Mazars as an Auditor, gaining experience in audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services. Additionally, they were a member of the youth council at Rabobank Westland, offering advice and feedback on the mission and goals of the organization.

Huub began their professional journey as an Associate at PwC and worked as an Assistant Accountant at Haze accountancy. Huub started their career as a Trainee at borsboom registeraccountants.

Throughout their career, Huub demonstrated strong leadership skills, transformational expertise, and a commitment to financial reporting standards in accordance with US GAAP. Huub has successfully managed finance teams, identified issues, and reported to group level for various companies. Their work has resulted in improved internal control frameworks, reduced costs, and enhanced risk assessment procedures.

Huub Vijverberg MSc RA has a diverse education history. Huub started their education at the Interconfessioneel Makeblijde College, where they completed their HAVO degree from 1994 to 1999. Following that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued further education at the same school and obtained their VWO degree. Huub then enrolled at the Hogeschool van Economische Studies from 2001 to 2005 and earned a BSc. in Accounting. Huub furthered their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2005 to 2007, completing their MSc. in Economics and Business. Lastly, from 2007 to 2011, they attended the Erasmus School of Accounting & Assurance, where they obtained a Register Accountant (RA) degree in the field of Postinitiële opleiding Master Accountancy.
