Martin Dolan

Martin Dolan's work experience begins in 1994 at Alsager School, where they served as the Head of Lower School Science, teaching various science subjects. Martin later worked at Shavington Academy as the Acting Head of Science from 2002 to 2004.

In 2004, Dolan joined Commpete International as a Product Management Specialist, leading a team of engineers in a UK-wide deployment of BACS software. Martin was responsible for staff selection, training, and customer-facing communication with senior leaders of finance and business CEOs.

From 2005 to 2006, Dolan worked as an IT Administrator at Middlewich High School. Next, from 2006 to 2010, they held two roles at LBM Direct Marketing: IT Network Analyst and IT Service Manager. As the IT Service Manager, they coordinated a team in the delivery of IT services and systems to 500 users and handled change management for the company.

In 2010, Dolan joined Stream Intelligent Contact as an IT Business Relationship Manager, responsible for translating digital IT systems and processes into elementary business language, facilitating communication between IT and the business.

From 2014 to 2018, Dolan worked at Concentrix as the Enterprise Programme Manager for the EMEA region. Martin was in charge of strategically deploying technologies and processes, leading innovation projects, and managing multiple IT teams.

Currently, since 2019, Dolan is employed at Hoist Finance as an Information Technology Business Partner and has previously worked there as an Integration Consultant/Programme Manager.

Martin Dolan has an extensive education history. Martin started by completing their O' Levels at Audenshaw High School in June 1985. Martin then went on to earn 2 A' Levels from Ashton Sixth Form College in June 1987. Martin continued their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Materials Science with a 2:2 grade. Following this, they pursued further studies at Keele University from 1993 to 1994, completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Secondary School Science) with a focus on Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has also obtained various certifications. In June 1994, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Keele University. Martin went on to achieve A+ Certified Professional status from CompTIA in July 2005, followed by becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional in October 2006. Finally, in April 2008, Martin obtained the ITIL Foundation v3 certification from the APM Group.
