Nick Mezher

Nick Mezher is the Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder of HOIST, a position held since April 2019. In addition to this role, Mezher has owned BMT Consultants, an accounting firm, since June 2009. Previous experience includes serving as Partner for Canadian Operations at Canyon Tech from February 2016 to March 2019, and as Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Special Projects at Brookfield Renewable Power from June 2008 to January 2016. Mezher also held the role of Finance Functional Lead for IFS implementation at Brookfield. Earlier in the career, Mezher worked as an Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP from November 2006 to April 2008. Mezher's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and a Business Administration degree in Accounting from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
