David Muñoz Ortega

David Muñoz Ortega, AIA, is a highly experienced architectural professional currently serving as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Architect at HOK since December 2013. David is responsible for fostering collaborative relationships with the Project Leadership Team and overseeing the organization of documentation and data, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. Prior roles include Associate Project Architect and Project Architect at HOK, with a strong emphasis on technical design implementation and sustainability at Perkins+Will as Arch III. Additionally, David has contributed to the field as a Latinos in Architecture Co-chair for AIA Dallas, a CAD & BIM Instructor at Westwood College, and has held various design roles at notable firms such as Merriman Associates Architects and VLK Architects. David holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with an Associate degree in Architecture from San Antonio College.
