Sarah Markland

Sarah Markland is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in both education and animal care. Currently serving as a Student Tutor at Atlas School since April 2023, Markland previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant and Behavior Consultant at Harvard Avenue Veterinary Hospital from October 2019 to December 2022. Markland's relevant experience also includes a role as a Comparative Psychology Student and Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University, as well as guest services at Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium. Prior to these positions, Markland was the Office Manager at Garden Deva Sculpture Co., managing various aspects of custom art projects and business operations, and worked as a Dog Trainer and Head Trainer at Spirit Ranch Dog Training, developing training programs and marketing materials. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Computer Science & Full Stack Web Development from Atlas School, a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Psychology from Oklahoma State University.
