Goran Martincevic has over 25 years of work experience. Goran started their career as a Production Manager at Auto Industrial Foundry in Johannesburg, South Africa from 1993 to 1996. Goran then joined Lafarge, where they held various positions such as Systems Manager in Johannesburg, Senior System Developer in Lyon, France, and Senior Automation/Process Engineer in Montreal, Canada. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and supporting control systems for cement plants, implementing advanced control strategies, and providing technical support to plant teams. Goran later joined LafargeHolcim in Michigan, USA, where they served as the Learning and Development Manager for the Cluster Transformation Team in Latin America, Manager for Plants of Tomorrow in Latin America, and currently as the Digital Transformation Technology Lead for Holcim in Michigan. In their current role, they are leading the digital transformation initiatives for the company.
Goran Martincevic obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade in the years 1984 to 1993. Goran then pursued a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Quality Assurance and Reliability from the University of Pretoria from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Systems from the same university in 1998 to 1999.
