Jorge Gamarra

Jorge Gamarra has extensive work experience in the field of maintenance technology and engineering. Jorge worked at Holcim from 2008 to present, holding various roles including Head of Maintenance Technology, Head of Maintenance Equipment Technology, Global Digital Maintenance Group Expert, and Lead Automation Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for automation, standardization of process control systems, contract negotiation, electrical maintenance and engineering, project implementation, and organizing trainings for engineers. Prior to their time at Holcim, Jorge worked at Ericsson as the Head of Service and Operation Center-North and Senior Technical Consultant from 1996 to 2005.

Jorge Gamarra has an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. In addition, they have attended several seminars and obtained certifications in fields such as Organizational Leadership, Occupational Safety and Health, Automation Engineer Technology/Technician, Business Administration and Management, and Automation Engineer Technology/Technician.
