Melissa Montalvo

Melissa Montalvo currently holds the position of Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Holcim El Salvador, a role undertaken since July 2017. Concurrently, Melissa serves as the Chairwoman of the Communications Committee for AmCham El Salvador since July 2018. Previous experience includes Regional Marketing Coordinator at Arias & Muñoz from February 2014 to June 2017, where responsibilities involved enhancing regional marketing and communications for the firm. Prior to that, Melissa was the General Manager at Hand 2 Hand Public Relations (May 2007 - February 2014), focusing on integrated communication strategies across various industries. Other roles include Freelance Communications Consultant for FUNDES (2010 - 2012) and Gerente de Comunicaciones y Capacitación Institucional at Fundación PROCAFE (2006). Melissa began a career in communications as Coordinadora de Comunicaciones y Relaciones Públicas for Proyecto FORGAES (2002 - 2005). Academic credentials include a Licenciatura in Relaciones Internacionales from Universidad de El Salvador, earned between 1999 and 2002.
