Lena Waszak currently serves as Plant Manager at Holcim Germany since October 2020, overseeing the production of 1.3 million tons of aggregate in a three-shift operation that includes raw material extraction, processing, chipping refinement, and rail loading. Previously, Lena Waszak managed three gravel plants and an earth material landfill. Professional experience includes research assistance at RWTH Aachen University and industrial placements at K+S Gruppe, MIBRAG, and RAG Deutsche Steinkohle AG, focusing on various mining operations. Academic qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from Technische Universität Clausthal and a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Resources Supply Technology from the same institution, complemented by a short-term educational experience at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
