Amanda Wood

Amanda Wood is an experienced urban forestry professional currently serving as an Urban Community Forester at Holden Forests & Gardens since October 2021. Prior roles include Senior Inventory Arborist at Davey Resource Group, Inc., where responsibilities included tree risk assessments and data analysis, and Inventory Arborist Technician, holding certifications as a Certified Arborist and a Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Amanda's background also includes positions as an Urban Forestry Intern at Morris Arboretum, Penn Park Orchard Outreach Intern at the University of Pennsylvania, and Laboratory Research Assistant at Illinois College, alongside a Summer Intern role at Starhill Forest Arboretum. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Resource Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Illinois College.
