Brandon Younan is a Research Specialist at Holden Forests & Gardens since May 2023, focusing on research related to Beech Leaf Disease (BLD) and managing field work throughout Ohio. Previously, Brandon served as a Geographic Information System Intern at Ducks Unlimited, where responsibilities included digitizing spatial data and creating geodatabases. Brandon also gained experience as an Intern at JG Global Advisory, LLC, assisting with various administrative and research activities and authoring a publication on wildlife crime. As the Lead Intern at the Countering Wildlife Trafficking Institute, Brandon managed a GIS project and developed habitat maps. Early experience at Michigan State University included roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Field Assistant in Forest Pathology and integrative biology, contributing to various ecological studies. Brandon holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University.
