Brianna Shepherd is a Research Specialist at Holden Forests & Gardens, responsible for managing and executing field work in Ohio, including plant surveys and soil collection. Previously, Brianna served as a Park Ranger and Seasonal Park Ranger at Allegheny County, where responsibilities included developing and presenting interpretive programming and providing visitor information about park resources and history. Additional experience includes working as a Program Presenter I at Carnegie Science Center, leading visitor interactions with various scientific exhibits, and serving as the Student Senate President at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, advocating for the student body. Brianna also interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, focusing on data collection for forest management. Brianna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology from PennWest Clarion.
