Anthony Fassio has a diverse work experience in the food and beverage industry. Anthony started their career at Fassio Egg Farms, where they worked as the Vice President of Finance, Operations, and Human Resources from 2004 to 2010. Following that, they held various roles in different organizations, including Hot Bread Kitchen as the Director of Culinary and Facilities - Entrepreneur Incubator in 2010, Shake Shack in Supply Chain and Quality Assurance from 2011 to 2013, and the Natural Gourmet Institute as the CEO from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Fassio served as the Executive Vice President at Great Performances. Anthony then became the Chairman of Slow Food NYC from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, they joined SunLife Organics as the Chief Operating Officer, a position they held until 2020. In the same year, Fassio took on the role of Vice President of Operations at Dig from February to August, before becoming the Vice President of Operations at Salt & Straw from 2020 to 2023. Anthony is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Holey Grail Donuts.
Anthony Fassio has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Operations Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Anthony also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations Management and Strategic Planning from Westminster College. In addition, Anthony has a Diplôme de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, specializing in Cuisine.
In terms of certifications, Anthony has obtained a Food Protection Certificate from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, HACCP Certified from USDA-FSIS, SQF Practitioner from the SQF Institute, and ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association.
