John Staten

John Staten has had an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John is currently serving as the President & Chief Executive Officer at Holiday Inn Club Vacations since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at the same company from September 2020 to July 2022, and Chief Operating Officer from March 2019 to September 2020.

Before joining Holiday Inn Club Vacations, John worked at Kaplan Higher Education as the Chief Operating Officer from September 2010 to January 2019, and as the Chief Financial Officer from August 2009 to January 2012.

In 2002, John joined DayJet Corporation as the CEO from September 2008 to February 2009. Prior to this, they worked in various roles including Senior Vice President Operations, Chief Financial Officer, and Founding member from July 2002 to February 2009.

John's career started at NetSpeak Corporation in 1996, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer, Operations and Board of Directors. John played a crucial role in the creation and launch of Voice over IP (VoIP) technology and contributed to the company's success in the telecommunications sector. John worked at NetSpeak Corporation from January 1996 to December 2001.

Before their tenure at NetSpeak Corporation, John worked as Manager, Audit, and Enterprise Services at Deloitte & Touche from 1990 to 1996.

John also has experience as the Founder and CEO of Staten's Jewelers, where they worked from 1986 to 1989.

John Staten earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 1989. John then completed a Master's degree in Accounting from the same college in 1990.
