Jay Patel

Jay "Jimmy" Patel has a strong background in the hospitality industry, with experience in various leadership roles. Jay "Jimmy" began their career in 1993 as a General Manager at Super 8, where they worked until 1997. From 1998 to 1999, they served as a General Manager at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts. Jay "Jimmy" then worked as a General Manager at Motel 6 from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Hotel Management Co. as an Operations Manager, a position they held until 2008. Following that, they became the General Manager at Comfort Suites from 2007 to 2009. In the same year, they also took on the role of Managing Director at Holiday Inn Express. Currently, they are serving as the President of JAM Hospitality Companies, a position they have held since 2007. Throughout their career, Jay has consistently delivered exceptional service and quality hotel products, exceeding customer expectations and delivering proven results.

Jay "Jimmy" Patel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Geography and Environmental Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1991. Jay "Jimmy" furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Sciences and Economic Geography in 1993.
