Andrea Avena

Andrea Avena has held various positions in the pet and textile industries since 2012. Andrea began their career at Della Pia Group as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer in 2012. In 2013, they moved to FORNITURE TESSILI CIMMINO S.R.L. as an Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. In 2015, they joined Holidog as a Country Manager for Italy, where they managed a team of five people and achieved various successes such as finalizing revenue-sharing partnerships with major Italian NGOs, acquiring 90k new pet-sitter users in five months, and leading Italy to become the fastest growing market in 2015. Andrea also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Holidog. In 2016, they returned to Holidog as the Chief Operating Officer. In 2018, they joined Hector Kitchen as the Chief Operating Officer, leading an international team of professionals and working closely with each head of department to create growth.

Andrea Avena completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business/Managerial Economics from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in 2012. Andrea then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Management, General from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2014. In 2013, they began a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Luiss Guido Carli University, which they completed in 2016.
