Phil Harris

Phil Harris is an equity partner and registered patent attorney at Holland & Hart LLP, where the practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting U.S. patents. Prior experience includes serving as a patent prosecution associate at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C, where work centered on mechanical patent prosecution. Phil also completed a judicial internship at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, contributing to bench briefs and legal research on patent issues. Additionally, Phil served as a law clerk at the American Red Cross, working on intellectual property enforcement and patent valuation. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, with additional study in electrical engineering and mathematics.
