Steve has held multiple managerial roles at Andeavor Logistics and Andeavor since June 2017, and served as Operations Supervisor with Western Refining Pipeline since May 2015. Prior to these positions, Steve worked as Operations Manager at Holly Energy Partners starting in June 2008, overseeing instrumentation, electrical, and rotating equipment departments. Earlier in their career, Steve gained experience as a Lease Operator with Burlington Resources, Devon Energy, and Phillips 66 from 1998 to 2003, and from 1983 to 1997, respectively. Steve's educational background includes studies in Artesia, NM, from 1977 to 1981.

HEP provides petroleum product and crude oil transportation, terminalling, storage and throughput services to the petroleum industry, including HollyFrontier Corporation subsidiaries. The Partnership, through its subsidiaries and joint ventures, owns and/or operates petroleum product and crude gathering pipelines, tankage and terminals in Texas, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, Oklahoma, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Kansas as well as refinery processing units in Kansas and Utah.
