Mattijn de Graaf MSc MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Mattijn started their career at Nederlandse Spoorwegen as a 3D Designer. Mattijn then moved on to Prolion where they served as a Projectmanager R&D. After that, they joined Tieman Operations BV as an R&D Manager. Following that, they worked as an Innovation consultant at Vereniging FME-CWM. At ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG, Mattijn held various roles including Manager Sustainable Efficiency - Sustainable Efficiency Officer and Global R&D Manager. Mattijn then joined thyssenkrupp as a Design to Cost Manufacturability Manager/Global PLM project manager. Currently, Mattijn is working at Holmatro as the R&D Director.

Mattijn de Graaf holds multiple degrees and certifications in the field of engineering and business management. Mattijn first attended Delft University of Technology from 1988-1994, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Design Engineering. Mattijn later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, specializing in Global Executive OneMBA from 2008-2010. Additionally, they received leadership training from ESMT Berlin in 2014. Mattijn also holds certifications such as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the ThyssenKrupp Academy AG.
