Larry Poague

Larry Poague is a seasoned professional in loss control and risk management with over 35 years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Loss Control Consultant at Holmes Murphy & Associates since July 2021, Poague has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Metropolitan Community College - Kansas City, teaching OSHA topics and developing training materials for healthcare standards. Previously, Poague held the position of Vice President Risk and Loss Control Consultant at Lockton Companies, where collaboration with industry leaders took place to enhance risk management programs. Poague served as a Retired Sergeant Major in the US Army Reserves, leading and mentoring over 11,000 soldiers. Earlier roles included working as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Poague holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree from The University of Kansas and an LPN in Nursing from PennValley Community College.
