Charles Little

Charles Little has a comprehensive work experience in the field of chemistry. In their most recent role as Head of Chemistry at Holocene starting in 2023, they oversee the chemistry department. Prior to that, they worked at SACHEM, Inc from 1999 to 2023, where they held various positions including Principal Scientist + Director of Organic Synthesis, Principal Scientist in Corporate Technology Development, Senior Scientist in Life Sciences Technology Development, and Manager in Electronic Materials Technology Development. At SACHEM, their responsibilities included managing teams, developing new applications for core technologies, and exploring business opportunities in high purity chemicals for the semiconductor and life sciences industries. Before joining SACHEM, they worked at MilliporeSigma as a Senior Research Chemist and at Cabot Corporation as a Senior Research Chemist. Charles began their career at WACKER as a Process Development Chemist and later as a Research Chemist, where they focused on developing silicone polymers for various applications.

Charles Little holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, where they obtained an A.B. degree in Chemistry.
